In this short episode Mike reveals his recipe for the best burger ever!! Normally prepared in a flaming red-hot cast iron grill, have your local butcher grind together a half pound each of Sirloin, Chuck, Skirt/Flank, and Suet. Place the patties on the cast iron pan for four minutes. Be careful — as these things will smoke like crazy, so have your windows open and the smoke alarms OFF. No matter what happens, just leave them be for the full four minutes. Then flip and cook for another four minutes. After that, you can plate the burgers and let them rest for a full four minutes (they’ll continue to cook on the plates). After that, grab some napkins and enjoy the best, juiciest burger you’ve ever had. It’s pretty amazing.
